I have always been a little amazed by artificial intelligence but it gets very complicated. I decided to try to make a program that would teach itself to play Black Jack. I chose Black Jack because first, I like it, and second, it is a pretty simple game with simple rules. It also only has two main choices: to hit or to stay. I didn’t implement splitting or any other special situations. This was not meant to be used so you can go out and win at the casinos. Anyway, it will save a text file of its results so you can look at what it has learned and maybe even take its advice.
